Lowell Park Nature Center

I spent an hour in this flower garden being bitten by little black bugs photography butterflies. Just as I was leaving, this huge butterfly flew in. Compared to the others, he was like a B-52 bomber among biplanes. Of course, I got three shots of him and my CF card was full. By the time I reloaded, he returned to base.

Turkey Vulture

This big bird of prey kept circling us on the boat. He must have known something we didn't.

The Blue Heron

This big bird was nearly impossible to catch on film with any degree of clarity. I must have taken 200 shots of him, and he just would not come into focus, almost like he's made out of smoke.

The Ice Box

No Indians (sorry, Native Americans) around hanging deer meet, but the Icebox at Lowell Park is still a mysterious place at sunrise.

Out at sunrise with RJT trying to learn some new tricks. I learned a lot, but apparently not how to take good photos!
