Night falls on Phoenix

Ever See A Ray of Sunshine this Big?

As the sun set, there was a small gap between the cloud layer and the mountains that surround Phoenix. The sun burst through that gap and illuminated the mist and here are the results.

Taking this guy along on a shoot is like having Yoda back you up in a lightsaber duel. His mere presence makes you sure you a better photographer.

This gorgeous sunset was photographed from a little hill in the Tonto National Forest outside Mesa, AZ. The tiny dot in the center is a hot-air ballon. Andrew and I left after class and outside of town just in time for this glorious sunset.

What a view

Andrew and I climbed a mini mountain to get a view of these bluffs at sunset. It took us 45 minutes and was about 40 degrees and windy at the top. Was it worth it? You be the judge.
